I just had a conversation with Mary regarding the forum – See Marys comments below.
“What I would suggest Johnny when you put together a newsletter is to ask members to title their threads properly to reflect what they are asking, as other members need to be able to find the answers they are given easily.
Secondly, I would tell them to check first to see if there is an existing thread about the subject, and if there is, to add to that thread, rather than creating a brand new one about the same thing. This will keep the forum tighter and more focused and way easier for people to find help.
And… the Success Stories thread is self-explanatory, but again, everyone should title threads correctly.
For example – “Need help” is not an effective title and the better the title of their thread, the more other members will be able to chime in and help them.
Also Johnny, I noticed some people post questions in any section. I think we should try and keep everything related so questions should be put in the correct sections for easy perusal. For example, if you have a question about your mini-site, post it in that section on the forum…
Anyway, sorry it took so long (over 2 days) and it has been the only thing I have focused on, but there really was not other easy way to do this and I think it looks better now and easier to follow and find what you need.
